First, we'll showcase the Aa and Bb lapbook that my Kindergartener has worked on this week.
She really likes these little short poem/story cutouts! |
For tactile learning we used glitter on this lapbook. |
These were cute pocket projects. |
This is the front of her Bb lapbook. Notice that these are hole-punched so that they can be placed in their notebooks! |
The tactile letter project for this one was a crumpled piece of tin-foil then cut into the letter B shape. |
This one part of the lapbook isn't finished. Needs the brad button so that it spins. |
Aleah has really enjoyed doing these lapbooks. We aleady have the letter Cc lapbook printed and ready to be put together tomorrow! These are a great way to reinforce learning!
Ok, now for my third grader and the parts of speech lapbook she did.
We are going back over this subject due to some difficulty she had last year. Always remember that if your kid can't grasp a concept at one point in time, they will get it at another point in time!
This is the verb fold-out opened up. |
Interjections. She found a comic she liked and wrote the definition below it. |
In order to make it fit inside her book we fan folded it! |
She uses the preposition list, the apple, and the basket cut-out to learn about prepositions. Ex. The apple is above the basket. And she is to put the apple above the basket. |
Here she drew a picture of two aliens in love. She wrote two examples of adverbs from the picture. |
A little mini-book of pronouns in a pocket. |
For adjectives she described her dog Brody! |
This photo is upside down, but you get the point! It's a tri-fold for Nouns both common and proper that she listed. |
Again we hole punched these folders so they fit in her notebook! |
I hope you enjoyed a little glimpse into our homeschooling lapbook lessons! I'll be adding more photos and what we are doing as this journey progresses!
